As you know, Dandadan’s first season was released in 2024, and its second season in 2025. The back-to-back releases led to the assumption that the anime would continue with a new season every year.
However, with the newly released teaser image, it has been announced that season 3 will be released in 2027.Frankly, this date came as a bit of a surprise, as many viewers expected the new season to arrive in 2026.
The anime’s official Japanese website officially announced that Dandadan season 3 will be released on December 21, 2025.
Science SARU will also continue as the animation studio for the new season.
What Will Dandadan Season 3 Be About? (Theories)
This section contains minor spoilers regarding the Dandadan Season 2 finale. Season 2 ended with Momo and Okarun facing a new threat.
Also, the appearance of a mysterious structure resembling a kaiju left the story in a very intriguing state.
Therefore, Season 3 is expected to continue directly from where the finale left off. Who is the mysterious character and what is the structure surrounding it really?
